RAMMATIK works with site‑specific pieces that explore movement in relation to the rhythms of nature. Through collective choreographies, temporary formations emerge in which individuals move as a single organism in dialogue with their surroundings. Their films and dance performances often unfold in open or desolate landscapes, where body, costume, and nature merge into a visual rhythm. Within their minimalist aesthetic, a universe of mystery and beauty emerges—an atmosphere that is at once surreal, hypnotic, and dreamlike.
In connection with Bringing In The Tide, RAMMATIK contributes an opening performance at Blåvand Beach, inspired by the local Wadden Sea tradition of “bringing in the tide.” The work explores this event as a ritual through simple, repeated movements and spatial formations that create patterns of bodies within the landscape. The performance invites both audience and participants into a poetic experience, where human and nature merge into a single, collective breath.
